History of the company JLSantos
JL Santos was born in 1994, when its founder José Luís Santos, supported by Lurdes Vieira, invested and started the activity through Jolusa.
From the beginning, the company has adopted a policy of proximity to customers, an essential factor for solid and sustained growth.
In 1999, it strengthened the technical aspect through the acquisition of the first CNC machines, and consequently with the integration of Nuno Santos, who took over this strategic area.

From 2000 onwards, the focus on Swiss-Type CNC turning centres enabled the production of technical and complex series parts of small dimensions and high precision.
The year 2002 marked a decisive phase, with the move to its own facilities. The JL Santos brand was consolidated at that time and reinforced with the entry of Ricardo Santos, thus giving more solidity to the JLSsantos project.
From 2011 the company invested in CAD-CAM being aligned with new means of machining and 3D dimensional control.
Growth led us to 2023 and we started the construction of a new manufacturing unit, which in turn was inaugurated in October 2025, the year in which the company marked 25 years of activity.
Currently, JL Santos is a reference of rigor and quality in the production of revolutionary parts, both in the most demanding solutions such as the medical area, or other serial parts.
